Hi everyone -

I was hoping someone could help me with this.

I have a 2011 Escalade with 20k miles and I noticed a week ago that the steering wheel felt slightly more firm for some reason.

I bought this vehicle brand new and I know how easy and loose the steering always was. I took it to the dealer and they said they didn't notice an issue with it and nothing looks wrong.

What would cause it to change all of a sudden? It was normal in the morning, but I went to drive it at lunch and noticed within a second it was more harder to turn. It's still like that after a whole week.

Power steering fluid and air pressure are all good.

Any idea?

You said p/s fluid is good. I assume you mean it is full. How long since it was changed? Steering linkage components need lubed, have they been?

I wish mine was more firm.... The smallest of movements in the steering wheel translates into movement of tires.

Almost like they designed the system for really weak people to be able to steer it. Too sensitive.

I don't think components have been lubed. What else is there that should be done?
