My dads friend has an auto detail place next door to his office and he detailed my car inside and out for 50 bucks :D Night and day difference from a week ago when I first brought it home...I also started the exterior blackout...The grille and rear emblem are plastidipped ( I think I will take the dip off the rear emblem and paint it) And I just finished tinting my taillights....I'm starting not to like VHT nightshade though they didn't come out anywhere as glossy as I wanted....I think it's because I didn't sand in between clear coats...So I'm going to take them off and wet sand them, put another coat of clear, wet sand them, and put one more coat...Anyways heres the pics for yal

you should still wet sand the last coat of clear but then buff and polish it. If done right thats where your extra glossy finish will come from. It will also make the paint job last longer. As we all know you will need any help you can get for rattle can paint jobs when it comes to durability

Yea I am wet sanding and adding two more coats....I lost my damn polishing pad for my buffer ...What product and process do you suggest I follow to buff and polish?

I like mequiars ULTIMAYE COMPOUND , it is a polish that starts as a slight abrasive and works it self down to a polish,,,,,almost no need to wet sand.

Lol great thats exactly what I have a whole bottle of! How long do you normally let the buffer run on the light, and how much compound do you normally use?also would it be worth it to apply the meguiars compound just with a microfiber towel? That's all I have right now or should I just wait

Wet sanded and clear coated a little more last night and the tails look MUCH better, I think they will look really good once I can polish them...And I also took the plastidip off of the rear chevy emblem and painted it with some brilliant black paint I had left over from when I had my charger, it looks pretty cool I'll put pics up when I'm off work
