Hey all, I just purchased a 2021 Yukon SLT. So far so good!

I am coming from a 2015 Mercedes ML 250 which I loved, especially the range and torque of the little turbo 4-cyl diesel. But with two little kids, dogs, Section 179 depreciation, etc., it came time to get something bigger. We looked at pre-owned GLS and X7, both of which I like, but neither are as roomy as the Yukon.

I'm enjoying the big girl so far, although I'm already longing for the diesel range so maybe there will be a swap in my future.

I look forward to learning about a new (to me) brand!

You can get your exact truck with a diesel! Welcome to the forum!

Thank you, all!

I was telling my wife that if we looking to get something else in a year or two (or 3), I’m looking first at the diesel.

I don’t have any pics but it’s a stock SLT, black, with the 20” wheels, and Luxury Plus, Max Tow (I wanted the upgraded cooling and integrated trailer brake), and second row captains chairs.

Interestingly, the window sticker doesn’t show any omitted/retrofit options like I’ve seen on so many other 21 and 22 window stickers. It does have heated and cooled seats, lumber, etc, so everything seems to be included.

So far it’s great! I did have to have the second key “serviced” which the deals did free of charge. I guess it needed a new transmitter. Any idea how much that would’ve been out of pocket?
