First photoshoot for the Tahoe

Looks good man. So where are you moving to? Are you getting a moving company to do the move?

Moving to Naval Station Great Lakes in Waukegan, IL. I will be living in Highland Park, IL. Military is paying for the entire move. Only thing I'm paying for is a Uhaul trailer. I'm going to tow my wife's car there. I've been spending the last several months prepping the Tahoe for this trip. That's why it got an engine oil cooler, an auxiliary transmission cooler, and tow/haul mirrors.

Nice. That's awesome the military is paying for it. How many miles is the drive from old place to new place?

Great Lakes is just over 900 miles away from my house in Virginia. That's just the first part of the trip, which we leave for on Wednesday. As soon as we get to Illinois I'm dropping my wife's car in storage and returning the trailer to Uhaul, then we are headed to Utah for vacation for the week of July 4th. The main purpose being that our house in Illinois won't be available until July 9, but we have tenants moving in to our house in Virginia on July 3. On July 9 we will leave Utah for Illinois and move in to our house.

We are so stressed out right now. All of our stuff is packed and we can't use any of it, plus the boxes are taking up space in every room. Shippers arrive Monday to take everything. That's when we get to bust out the air mattresses.

Wow sounds realllll busy. I just moved into a new apt and had a moving company do everything so it was quite painless and I only moved 10 miles away to be closer to downtown denver. Anyways good luck with the move man see you on the other side
