Greetings everyone. Name is Mark, just picked up an '08 Denali. I needed something with a little more ground clearance and decided to get something nicer than just a 2500 Silverado or Sierra work truck. I also have a 4/6 dropped '00 Sierra RCSB that's relatively stock aside from some visual and audio stuff, that's really want made me want to stay in the GM family. I love the 5.3 2wd, so stepping up to the 6.2 AWD is a blast. Along with the trucks I have an '05 Cobalt that I've had for about 7 years now. Built motor, trans, and 62mm made 591whp unfortunately maxing out the injectors. That's more of the track car. With the truck and the Denali I wanted to stay more cruiser and visual friendly. At least that was the plan for the Sierra until I picked this up haha. Now the truck is a toy as well with some nice plans.
Anyways, previous owner kept it pretty clean. Interior is very nice, exterior has some scratches here and there and some door dings on the side panels, but that's Oklahoma idiots for ya. For now I'll just be lingering and reading up on retrofits. First thing I did with the Cobalt was buy some retrofits, first thing I did on the Sierra was put the OEM denali projector upper lights in. So with the Yukon already looking good, only thing done on the exterior though is the black upper and lower billet grills, it's only fitting I put some projectors in it as well. After that I'll get a little more involved with intake, full exhaust, DOD/AFM delete, cam, etc.
I'll be doing some searching but if anyone has recommendations on a good retrofit let me know.
Cheers.
