I'm from Minneapolis, MN and just started a family. So i needed something to haul around the wife daughter and 2 dogs and still have enough room for all of our camping gear and what not. Plus i wanted to do it in style! So far my 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali has been good to me. Only had it for 3months.. But, with all the snow we got this past winter it made getting to work a breeze.

However, I have ran into an issue. Maybe someone can point me to the right thread or help me here.

My daughter is 6months old so when we drive the 450miles to our lake house I like having the AC on for her in the back. But last weekend we went out of town and the AC up front stopped working! Still blows cold in the back but the front is just warm air... I am not extremely mechanically inclined so I hope this is an easy fix I can do myself. Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome, it sounds like the blend door that mixes the heater core with the A/C evaporator is stuck. It is located under the glove box an appears to be accessible from under the dash. You can remove it and let it hang while you operate the temp control, it should move back and forth. Search on line for directions and maybe a utube video. There is a thread here with pics on how to replace the actuator, first try the tap method of tapping on the actuator with a screwdriver handle and see if it frees up.

Otherwise could be orfice tube for front evap stopped up, highly unlikely since you have rear cool.
