I just fixed my sputtering, loss of power and engine codes for misfiring. I tried everything from plugs to wires and injectors. The problem was still there. My friend told me to change the intake manifold seals and that fixed all the problems. Any questions please e-mail me as I am not on the forum much. Before starting the task make sure to get the tools to remove the fuel lines in the engine bay. It took me 2 hours to do the change but the truck runs like new again.

My symptoms were #1 and #3 misfire then I got codes for random misfires. While driving, the tahoe had hesitations and at stop lights the tahoe was about to stall and shook like a tank. This is the fix. Don't waste time with wires and plugs. You can look up how to change intake manifold gaskets on youtube. There are tricks on there you will need.:fca5278e:

Thanks for the info. This is the next thing that I need to do to my Tahoe. I only have rough idle on cold start though so I will wait a while.
