The muffler has rusted out where the exhaust exit pipes connect. I have a dual exhaust. Not sure weather I can get away with just replacing the muffler... Possibly patching the muffler?( yeah right) or just getting a new catback system. If I go with new catback system I'd like for it to be dual exhaust because I like the looks of 2 exhaust pipes straight out the back. Also this might be a dumb observation but I think I have 2 catalytic converters, is this correct?

Recommendations on products and how to do stuff please and thanks

hm still no replys..

So if i go with getting a new catback exhaust. It looks like my options are limited on a 2 door model. I havn't found any that run dual exhaust :(. The catbacks I found that fit are flowmasters and gibson(2 in 1 out). Magnaflow unfortunately appears to only sell catbacks to the 4 door model.

If you have a obd2 powertrain system which has a vortec engine then yes you have two cats. And yes go with a cat back to replace all that and have a shop modify the output for you as needed.
