Fixed A/C

Well a/c quit. Got one of the quick fix kits at autozone. Pressure was low.

I had to straight wire the compressor to get it to kick. Got the pressure up to required level and re-plugged the compressor switch still did not click on. Did ohm test on the low pressure and had no continuity with switch plugged in. Tested the plug and grounding out the plugged fired the clutch on the compressor. So, $11 low pressure switch and I have ice cold a/c again!

Cruise quite last year as well. Did the break switch check and all was well. so at the pick n pay grabbed a cruise control module from a junked suburban for $26. Plugged it in and wala. It works.

I know this is an old post, but I would like to know how you tested. Mind sharing?

AZ is only showing Trinary switch and Clutch Cycle swtich. Is this Hi and low pressure switches with proper name?
