I think I have successfully shortened my electric running boards to fit Weathertech flaps on the front. When I get them tomorrow I will try to post a pic of retracted and extended. Then when I shorten the other side I will post pics of the process. Wish me luck! :)

Worked all day so I had my Dad pick them up. Well.....no flaps. Parts guy told him only one set came in so he didn't bring them home. Bummer, only ordered front set anyhow. Different parts guy. Does anyone have the Weathertech flaps without flares and running boards? Part # 110008. If so, how much of the body do they cover where the inside front tip of the running boards would be? The part of the board that sticks into the fender well.
