So we just got a really good downpour a couple hours ago. Driving through the rain watching all the hondas and lowered cars stranded. Well the water just kept going and eventually i sucked in some nasty water. I kept driving trying to wait it out at my mom's and i ended up stalling out the tahoe in a flooded intersection no more that 5 blocks from my mom's. While i was stranded some dumb ***** scrapes the side of my truck and drives off knowing i can't do shit about it. Got her license plate # though lol looks like im gunna get a FREE repaint on my drivers side and side mirror. =) anyways, i let the truck sit to dry off for about 2 hours and it started right away!!! Now thats a Chevy for ya!!

Might be a good time to check and change your fluids.

Bai78: i called to make a police report but pd was busy attending to other dumb driver accidents. Im gunna go tommorrow to fill out the police report and make a claim with my insurance.

Drowndindreams: haha it was fun splashing everyone!! Got alot of honks, the birds, and high beams lol then i had to play in 4wd cuz i couldn't get any traction for shit in 2wd w/ lockers. Pretty scary when you have your wipers on high and you still can't see anything, especially when all you can see is water and no sidewalk.

Retorq: im not trying to blow the motor to shit just yet. Im at 182k and its running like a champ =) can't wait to build me a 383 stroker next year and throw it in the hoe.

Cartwright: i checked the oil and tranny and everything seems good. I let the motor idle for about 5 minutes and it didn't sputter or bog down. So im assuming everything will be fine.

I did that same thing as you. Got stuck on a flood down the shore here and had to plow through a ton of water to get out. Sucked up a bit of water and ruined the alt. It was well worth it though haha

Bowtie: I checked the oil and tranny and everything looks alright. Im not sure if i should still keep an eye on it or just let it be.

steven: its fun plowing through the water while everyone else tries to avoid it lol but just gotta remember that our hoes and kons aren't superman and eventually they'll drown in the water haha
