Flowmaster for 2015 Tahoe PPV

Relatively new here, have made a few posts with nary an reply. Beginning to wonder if I'm doing something wrong Have a question regarding the Flowmaster exhaust for the 2015 Tahoe (Part number 817704). This is considered a Force II application, which I've used on other cars with solid success. The youtube video sounds great, but I'm concerned about resonance. This appears to be a resonator back kit, as such, I don't think resonance would be an issue, but again, was hoping for some insight. Thanks in advance!

that is a catback kit.
every flowmaster kit i have ever had, definitely had droning on highway about the 2000-2700 rpm range.

they always sound great

it is listed as a 50 series muffler, that is supposed to have a resonant chamber in it


if it does drone, i have used mats of dynomat or fatmat to remedy it

Or add in a resonator if the kit drones. Pick out one of your choice and have a muffler shop weld it in. Or other option look up a J-Pipe resonator and have a local shop put one on.

Thanks for the reply. In doing some additional research on the Flowmaster kit, it's technically stainless, but it's 409 stainless, which means it will rust. That eliminates it from consideration as the PPV will be a daily driver. I guess that basically leaves Borla, Corsa. I've read about Gibson and MBRP but have no practical knowledge on either company. Need 304 stainless. Honestly, I don't know what to think: searching this forum and the internet in general provides so many different opinions on drone / no drone.

i thought MBRP kits were 409, but w/ 304 tip
magnaflow is 409 too

Absolutely love my Corsa and haven't noticed any droning so far.
