Hello All,

I have an 03 Tahoe with 156K miles on it. I remember having the front and rear diff flushed at 100k. I do not ever remember performing a flush on my transfer case. Is this something I can do safely at this mileage or should I leave it alone? I've heard that with this many miles, if it has never been touched to leave it alone. Is that true? Any advice would be appreciated.

Also, not sure if the transmission fluid was flushed or how long ago. Again, any harm in flushing at this mileage?

No harm. Transfer case is a drain and fill with 2qt auto trak fluid. It will not hurt anything to service the transmission and renew the fluid additives.

There is a specific way to do a complete fluid change with out harming your trans, posted here.
You will need a couple cheap parts, clear tubing, brass barbed fitting and 13 quarts of fluid.
and a friend to help.
