im planning on picking up a pair of silverstar ultras this weekend for my yukons hi/lows . sylvania's site doesnt list any bulbs for the 5202 fogs. i dont want to use any pnp 25w hids for the fogs if i can help it because i dont like the look of HIDs without a projector . does anyone have and recommendations on a higher lumen bulb for the fogs ? preferably that will have a similar color to the silverstar ultras so it will match but that isnt a must. increased light output is more important. thanks

do a CREE style LED, good ones are usually listed around 450 lumens...\

You see the size of the metal haetsink behind the leds on the Nokya? That's why they cost twice as much as the v-led ones.

The v-led are decent led bulbs and are easier to instal ... the Nokya ones are OE quality, however they are strong and they will glare almost as much as a 25W hid kit.

For what it's worth I run the v-leds ones, but they're just for show to match my hid projectors, I never actually use them for extended periods of time.

The issue is the size of the Tahoe/Yukon fog lamps ... they are so small that they just don't reflect that much light.

I'm actually not exactly sure what that means, I'm crap at wiring. :)

But I do know you won't need the optional resistors tho.
