Does anyone know if you can integrate fog lights into the front end of the Yukon Hybrid? Living in Seattle means a lot of dark, rainy roads and I've always appreciated some auxiliary lighting on my cars. The Hybrid doesn't come with any fog lights and it appears the only way to install them would be to cut into the air dam.

I guess an HID conversion would be a good idea too...

Well, the pre-wiring may not be present on the Hybrids as it is on standard Yukons without fogs. That will be one thing you need to take care of.

Also, cutting into the bumper may not be a good idea, but it probably is doable. You may even consider replacing the front fascia with a standard Yukon fascia that has the fog light holes. Then you just install them like you would if you had a standard that didn't come with fogs - GM makes an accessory kit for this.

HID's are good, but be aware that they melt the housings. I did not run mine for very long periods of time and they still managed to melt the housings - 35w DDM fogs.
