Fog lights upgrade?

Could you conduct a power draw test on those? I'm curious if they're actually 36w units. I have a pretty major distrust of aftermarket LED lights

I ran mine on the factory system for years with the factory rated fuse and never had anything close to an issue, I think they draw less power than a standard halogen, HID's on the other hand I had to run wire and relays with there own fuses, HID's on the factory harness will first blow the fuse then start to melt the fuse holder in the fuse box they draw a lot of power.

My concern is more that they're over-rated than under rated. i.e. they say the put out more than they really do.

I've lost track of how many times someone's trying to show off their 200w 40" light bar and I'm just like... Dude my high beams are brighter.

The market is, unfortunately, flooded with cheap junk

Had these for two years, vibration killed one of the brackets, and salt eroded the paint. Plan on putting it about a foot behind and under the rear bumper, will be great for backup lighting.

Have since got some that are rated as 480W each (40 bulbs @ 12w each), they are noticeably brighter. Have also upgraded my lightbar from the 300 watt to "2520" watt, and that is more than substantially brighter.... as in turning a dark yard into like standing on a white tarp - insanely bright.
Also mounted the light bar into the grille, fits perfectly.

I also had my doubts because I have also bought junk led lights before, but the 12 led ones I referenced will literally blind you if you look directly at them for more than a second, when those are on you can see them from as far away as you can see

I ended up going with some like these, they fit in a rectangular slot and can be wired up to the factory harness, water tight.
just had to use the factory light bracket and make a hole in it for the bolt.

I bought replacement ones off Amazon for my Escalade. Looked good when I installed them and I put led 880 bulbs in them. Look great

I need to get some better, brighter fog lights for my 2002 Tahoe. The lenses keep falling out of the OEM and aftermarket ones, and all of the brackets are plastic and flimsy, so they shake when you drive. Are there any that are the OEM shape/style but much better quality? I like the CREE ones mentioned previously, but I'd really prefer the original style and not have to retrofit anything.

I used projector fog lights with a high beam function. It's another option. Plus for me I can switch out bulbs if one goes out or if i just want to change a color. I can switch from hid to led if I want also.
