Hey everyone, as you can see I have a few topics of discussion/questions.
Soooo first up. Foglights. Definitely not waterproof right? I seem to have killed both of mine. Not that I really care, I got some LED headlights and you can't see the foglights at all. Just wondering if being submerged would kill them or if it was just their time to go.
Which brings us to the more important question, when I killed the foglights I tore one loose from the bracket that held it in place. It was dangling by the wire (so naturally I stuffed it into the bumper.) Anyways, is there a place where I can JUST buy mounting hardware for a foglight?
And if you have not yet guessed where this is going, I also damaged the front bumper. Specifically, just the plastic piece that hangs below the real bumper that houses said foglights I destroyed. GMC included some rather cheap plastic rivets, many of which are gone. However it seems that only a few of the mounting holes are broken. Should I try to get some washers and screws and re-attach or just get a new one?
Before someone asks what happened, I was being stupid with the 4wd in some sketchy mud and could have really used just 2" of lift.
