Just got done with replacing the upper intake manifold gaskets and a full throttle body cleaning and she idles like new. If you have the rough idle on a cold start and then gets better throughout the day you most likely have a leaky gasket. Clean the throttle body while you have the manifold off. Tackle this job and your vehicle will idle and run soo much better.

I am planning on doing this on Thanksgiving, I already bought the gaskets. What resources did you use? You find anything with a step by step, or how to? I am not very mechanically inclined, but I cant afford to take it in to get fixed. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Guys go to this link, it tells you EXACTLY how to get the intake manifold off, which is a pain in the ass, once you get it off, clean the intake ports, take the throttle body off , clean that too, put the new gaskets on, they clip in so its super simple, put the intake back on, torque it down gently and put it all back together, runs soooo much better its not even funny.
