if you dont care about adjustable , the route we went the first was bags in low profile brackets in the stock spring location with 1/4 inch air lines going to a manual hose fill. (like your tires) you have to jack up the bumper to get air in them but once they are filled they ride great , you never have to touch them and with a Djm Free Mod you get 7+ down.

cost like 250 dollars plus install (SUPER easy diy weld job)

Gotta link for the parts or procedure???? My 5/5 isnt low enough AND it rides like crap.

when we did that i used i used a site i cant find right now.. but all you need..

2 firestone 2500 bags
fittings (get all 90 degrees)
tell them you want the shortest upper and lower brackets they have
and a line kit with a schrader valve

should cost you 250-300 shipped.

running late and cant find the link but DJM Free-Travel Mod is removing your rear bump stop mounts which clears up like 3 effin inches of travel

(plasma cutter makes it like a 3 minute job)

After installation just know you will have to jack up the rear end to take the weight off the bags to adjust them... there just isnt enough air pressure in those tiny lines to lift the truck... but we arent worried about all that since we are just gong to us it as a spring...

so air it up and get it to where its a little too tall... then set the truck down and let the ait back out until you have the right height you wanted...

cheap....soft ride.. and a major drop.

win win

you rat bastard, now I have to call firestone :secret:

another inch or two is gonna have you clllllooooooose

Be careful of 2 things.. sway bar vs panhard bar.. and make sure you get the SHORTEST brackets you can for the bags...

i had to drop my sway to get all the way down but if oyu do the djm sway kit it shifts the stock sway bar over and inch and makes that not an issue.

I'll just build some shit when I do it, thanks tho. I'm guessing I'll last a week before ordering compressors, tanks, valves and get a digital air controller from my boy at dakota digital.

I need to pay it off and buy another c1500 obs, then I can sink loot into that thing and it's way easier to bag a coil spring 2wd. Truck is gonna make my ass broke.
