So as sad as it going to sound i really like the style of the fords tow mirrors, I was wondering if any one would know what kind of modification i would half to do to make them fit, I know the wiring would be a problem but im pretty good at finger those kinds of things out, so that would be much of an issues,

which ones? The bases are going to be a lot bigger on the ford than your tahoe.

94-01 Dodge tow mirrors fit pretty well

A dreamil and a drill is your friend. Would most likely have I drill new holes. Dreamil down the base to fit and maybe add fiberglass so it doesn't look stupid all shave down. IMO I like my Chevy tow mirrors

The only thing i don't like aboght Chevy tow mirrors is every pair i have seen on older trucks there slanted upwards and there not sticking straight out like there supost to be, Plus i really would like having the puddle lights on them it would be very helpfull at night because there are not street light neer our driveway

That's the factory mirrors on the 99+ that are angled up like that. The ebay tow mirrors for 88-98s don't do that.

Dodge mirrors fit easy and look better than the chevy tow mirrors IMO.

Those ford mirrors have a HUGE mounting base on them.

The only reason the dodge mirrors fit is because they stopped using the old monkey bar dumptruck mirrors that old trucks had and went to plastic tow mirrors for a few years until they changed bodies in 2002. The mirrors had to fit the small mounting base that the smaller sport style mirrors used (similar in size to your tahoe mirrors). The bases on the 02+ (like all newer trucks have huge mounting bases so the mirrors don't shake and the mount is much stronger.

Thank you _Dylan_ that was very helpful, So the reason i chose those mirror that i post a link to is because there base is pretty much flat there for i could shave it to make it look nice and there not bubbled like the picture of the ford you posted, So if i did go threw with this do you think that they would vibrate wile driving? And another thing Chevy dos not make any tow mirrors with Mirror markers or puddle lights do they? The only thing i know that is different on them is there red turn signal in the mirror

the ebay chevy mirrors will vibrate a little because of the small base. They have a running light on the side of the mirror that can be wired to the turn signals. They dont have a turn signal in the mirror like some of the newer chevys have nor do they have puddle lights.

You can add puddle lights under neath the doors with some LED strips wired to the door lights which is what I did.

I will post more info when I get home later.
