How long does it take for the paint on the rotor surface itself to wear off?

@ArcticYukon

This is the brake rotor after that short journey to the supermarket last night. Less than 1 mile away from my house and it is already cleaned off.

After having a kind word with the painter about overspray all over the Tahoe on Sunday, I came home from work today to find a nice grit of overspray on my fkn truck again!!

This time it had sat too long to wipe off. Looks like I am going to have to clay bar the paint again.

Seriously?

I mean I love keeping the paint in tip top shape, but it was dialed in tight a couple days ago.

Now I have to redo it and not because I messed it up myself. Grrrrrr......:mad::mad:

Just be glad you don’t live where I do... lol all I’ve seen for the past 4 days has been rain, then snow, then a crap ton of mud! I can’t even wash it and it’s pissinf me off! Haha. At least you can keep yours clean right now!

I'd be pretty pissed at him since you'd already had a talk with him and it happened again.

I gave the house the hairy eyeball today. Wife casually mentioned that the new owner who is renovating isn't going to give a second thought about it. She doesn't care. I know that and nothing I can do about it, so I vented here. You can feel my frustration. I will just have to correct the overspray and move forward. Grrr....
