Well, I know now for sure where my leak is in the AC... I replace the lines, the drier, all the o rings, the compressor, and even the orifice tube...and then charged it all up...was good and cold, running like normal...
Then, I shut it off. Walked out front to put the grille back on, and heard a really small hissing noise from the condenser. I should have known. When I got the truck, it had one of those aftermarket trans coolers in. It used those tie things to keep it in place...one of those must have wore through...
Now i need a condenser, but then everything will be new.
I will say, the cold was nice while it lasted, lesson...don't use those black ties for holding coolers in. I now have a factory cooler in place.
