It does spin, it’s supposed to be connected to the pinion shaft but his was tipped offIf it doesn't spin, why does it have balancwe weights? Better do the coast roll on little hill while lookin underneath. Or jack it up. I would straighten it a little to stop the rubbin, and keep an eye on it.Could do like I saw on TYF= velcro an old cell phone up there!
X2I have never seen balance weights on any of them over the years in my shops. I have no idea why this one does. Get it off of there.

Nah, dont be its really just a cover for the pinion seal. Stop by any mechanic and see if the can quick bend it into shape and tack wld it back to the end of the yoke. Its all good. Maybe even an exhaust place.... independently owned not a chain like midas or the like.I'm getting worried now...
