So the 1985 C10 is my son's, Jeremy, he is home from Navy after active duty. He also is working on building 2002 Trans Am for the track. The 85 is a sleeper, he is keeping that pretty stock on the outside. The Trans Am was going to be a manual drag car but I think, Tim, my husband, talked him out of that and into a trans brake auto drag car. Tim used to run a 72 Nova with a blown Hemi in it, alcohol injected 500" motor. Tim also had a 91 GMC Syclone and he was building a 69 Nova cruiser but we bought a house so it got sold. The leftover stereo parts from the Nova are going in my truck.

Jeremy also has a 09 GMC sierra 1500 quad cab 4wd. And Tim has a 12 Sierra extended cab heavy duty 1500.

And I don't believe I know Nathan or his wife

A Bowtie Family! Well, your son slipped and got a GMC! The forum masters here don't mind the pickups, especially since they are kin to our trucks so just about everything learned on them translates to the wagons. Fellas here would love to see builds on the C10 and the newer ones and even the Trans Am.

Tim pulled back the carpet to start pulling in my stereo. Yes, that is more red clay mud. And we found this history gem, apparently it had a phone in it. Oh and I found where it has been leaking on the floorboard, but we found the leak so then it is rust encapsulator to the rescue! Oh and they must have enjoyed shooting from the truck because we found a few .22 casings

Are you sure that's a plug for a phone? Looks like a GM plug.

Well upon further inspection and testing, the leak is coming from the fresh air intake and box for the ac. So guess what comes out again? Just got a bonus at work so I ordered my carpet and I'm working from home so it's time to just send it boys! I guess the bonus is the dash had been in place for a few weeks so that bow should be gone. Every piece of trim is coming out and getting painted. The grille turned out gorgeous except for the one spot I boogered on the lower curve of the center. Hopefully won't be able to see it.

That's a big spooly boi
He knows no other way. He had a 14 Hyundai Genesis 2.0T R Spec that he beat pretty well and kept adding the big spooly bois to everything. I think the 98 Trans Am had one too or he just drove it like he stole it. LOL
