FREE TRAVEL MOD HELP

Hello,

Im new to the forum and trying to get a little help with the free travel mod for my 2007 chevy tahoe. i cant find a shop that knows what im talking about nor do i have the tools to do this modification on my own. Does anyone know of a shop that does this modification in the Bay Area? or know of someone that can help me with this modification, i dont mind paying someone that can help. just been trying to do this for about a year now and have had no luck. i also have the DJM endlinks to install also.

Just buy a saw saw and a 6" blade and you can do it yourself and save you the money. There is a write up on how to do it somewhere on this forum.

Here is the How To thread so you can have an idea. I took in the pictures of the free travel mod to the shop when I had mine lowered so there could be no doubt. They did a great job after I explained to the tech what it was.

If you do buy a sawzall and do it your self, on the driver side watch out for the gas tank! It's right next to the frame rail
