No need for plasma cutter. My shop did it with sawzall and grinder to smooth out the edges. I took pictures from the TYF and showed him exactly what I needed him to do since they mostly did lifts.

It just worked into the labor charge of installing my drop kit and to me was worth the expense to have it done there with all the tools then put on the rack to align.

Since most of us dont have a plasma thingy to cut that bump stop off, how much do shops charge? Assuming its there to protect car when shocks are super done and cant hold car enough? Would these off make an improvement on less dropped trucks or stock height?
It's only needed for trucks dropped at least 4"or so in the rear, and all it does is relocate the bump stop higher up so the axle doesn't hit it over bumps. I used a Sawzall, wasn't that hard. Just have to use a few metal blades and watch out for the gas tank, use something to protect it when cutting in that area. The mod allows for more suspension travel when needed.
