Free XM? Way louder than everything else

I have been testing various sources for music and dodged xm because i never subscribed. I checked today and multiple channels work under xm and the volume of sound it's significantly higher than every other source. Do we get Free xm now? I counted like 5 options per genre

I've only ever had the preview channel, channel 1, when not subscribed. I've got the 6 months for $30 deal going on now, but to me it's not any louder than the aux source.

Yea its the preview but a lot of entertainment. I had someone use aux today and it was just as loud. Must be the sources used for aux causing loudness. I have a murano with xm ready. Will test preview.
