freon capacity question

hey good morning I just bought a 08 Tahoe ls 2wd with rear a/c 5.3l and I just replace the a/c condeser and the lines does any one know how much Freon I will need ???

40oz according to the Chiltons repair manual that's about what mine took too. Use one of the charge kits w a gauge and make sure you're in range when the compressor is runnin.
