Howdy,

A few weeks ago my blinkers started acting up on my 05 hoe. It first began with the left side blinking really fast. Then the left side blinkers totally went out and the front right totally went out. I replaced both rear blinkers last night and now both sides work they just blink too fast. The front right is still out. The front left works. Would replacing the front blinker bulbs make them blink at the standard speed again?

Have seen a few threads on this issue but none exactly like mine. Thanks

That's definitely where to start. What kind of bulbs did you use? If they are LED, I think your 05 has the flasher module you can change to fix the hyperflash.

fastblink is a feature that lets you know a bulb is out, it could also happen if there was corrosion on the contacts or some other related ground problem, when you change the bulb be sure to clean the little metal contacts real good and you can give them a little bend inward so they make good contact with the bulb.
if you replaced any bulbs with LED's then you will still have the same problem the led's have a different resistance and the flasher relay would also need to be changed to use led's instead

All of this.

My daughter's Kia had a fast-blinking driver-side turn signal. Front & rear blinked, but front bulb was dimmed about 50%. Presumed it was a fluke bulb. Replaced it. Same issue. The Kia's front turn signal is a socket without direct wiring, so I replace the socket. Same issue. Didn't dawn on me to check for proper ground---turns out that bad ground was the issue.

Thanks. The bulbs are incandescent when they were working and I replaced them with incandescent.

Then I'd make sure they are all known good ones first and have good connection at the sockets. If you're still getting hyper flash, start checking the grounds like Wes said.

I'm sure its a surprise to none but replacing the front bulbs solved the issue.

I noticed that the hazard lights blinked at a normal pace when turned on so I thought the speed could be a different problem. Luckily not
