Front and rear diff swap

I tried searching for this info without much luck.

I picked up a 2013 Tahoe LTZ 4x4 a couple months ago. It currently has the 3.08 gears. I'm looking to upgrade to 3.73's or 4.10's. I found some low mileage rear diffs on car-part from 07-09, would those be a direct replacement?
My thinking behind swapping the rear diff is I already need to swap it to at least the 3.42 gears to have the larger carrier bearing vs the 3.08 with the small carrier.

I'm thinking yes but they don't show up when I search using my year. My thinking is they quit offering those gear ratios in 2010-up.

Also, are the front diffs the same from the half ton trucks? I'm having a harder time finding the 3.73 or 4.10 front diffs from a tahoe.

Any help is appreciated. Hoping to gather parts over the winter and start working on it in spring or once the snow melts.

They should be the same just make sure you do the front also if not pull the 4wd shaft so you don’t mess anything up until you get the front differential changed. Everything should but a direct swap if I remember correctly

From 2009 to 2014 the wagons ran either the 3.08 or 3.42 gear. You have to look at the earlier years for the 3.23s, 3.73s or 4.10s. Same for the front differential but for those you can also look at the pickups and the selection will be much larger.

I'm currently looking at a 2008 front differential with 3.73 gears for $350 with about 120K miles on it on LKQ. The Silveradoes and Sierras front differential is the same as ours and they are much more plentiful in the salvage yards.

Now, if you are willing to go on the hunt, there is an AXN 9.5" 14-bolt semi-floater that bolts right up to your Tahoe and most of them have 3.42 gears as they were used under RWD Yukon Denalis and Escalades. There were Suburbans and Avalanches, 2007-2008 with the Vortec Max 6.0 engine, still a 1500, that used this axle with 3,.73 and or 4.10 gears as they still used the 4-speed transmission.

Let us know how it goes. I've contemplated doing something similar on my 08 denali for better mountain climbing. Granted, I'd be going from 3.42 to 3.73, but nonetheless cool to learn.
