I just came across your old post, see some pictures. It was not very easy or simple, but doable and was well worth it as I didn’t want to miss out on a lot of options/features that SLE does not offer.

Did you order the parts and do it yourself? Happen to have a parts list? What didn’t cost roughly? Thank you!

Yes I did it all myself, ordered 3-oem GM parts online and bought the center seat off ebay.
Look over this thread "Suburban LS base model diesel" starting from page 3 and thru the end. There is a link there to a youtube video that I used to help me, it was by someone who did the conversion on a higher trim level pickup truck that was only available in 5seats and he converted to 6 seats.
I will look up the part #s.
The center seat I got on ebay, look for one that you need, they are from pickup trucks and you can find leather or get cloth and then have some katz skin leather match, some come with upper/lower storage and some dont have any storage. GM does not sell the seat as one piece. they are about $350-$500 on ebay, but I would also try to search car-part.com or call local junk yards like LKQ.

Part# 84656774 -cover over center dash (#2 in image)
Part# 84690976 -lower cover attaches to 84656774

Part# 84883126 -back of the center seat cover that rear hvac controls go, see image (you will need it becasue most seats on ebay will have different panel if they come from pickup truck).

All 3 pieces were about $100-$150; google part# to find best price+shipping on these as there are several different places to order from that will be cheaper than just going to local dealer. All together for parts and seat will be about $500-$600 and then you could also do the modification to install a different Bose subwoofer into left rear panel and that part will be another $150-180 or so (but the bose system will work fine without the sub).

3 trim showing the angle of center dash where heat temperature controls are on SLE is slightly more vertical than SLT, and Denali is a lot more horizontal. Therefore I don’t think the conversion would work on Denali trim. And 2025 refresh will not have 9seat SLE as an option anymore.
