Got an 01 Yukon XL and am having a lot of trouble finding 2nd row buckets. But I do see a lot of front row buckets for sale. Would these be a direct bolt in? Or if they needed modding, would it be minor or major? Not sure if anyone has done this but thought I'd ask.

never wondered or heard anything about it, but that would be the best interior mod ever!

Is it possible? Sure, anything is possible! In my opinion, it would be far too labor intensive to justify though. It would definitely look odd, the front buckets are much bigger than the 2nd row buckets. You could do it if you have moderate welding skills and can live with the risk of ruining a seat! Would be better to just hold out and wait for some 2nd row buckets!

No, they won't fit. They attach to the floor with a completely different pattern.

If you could fab some mounting brackets for the contours of the rear, it might work.
