Front diff leaking

It may require what they call a redi-sleeve and seal. Its made for axles which have a groove worn into them from long time use. May look into that.

If that's the case why not replace the axle spline. Wouldn't that take care of the groove? Granted the shaft is expensive. Little sucker is like 300 bucks

2007. Has cv axle. That portion is fine though. The spline is a separate part that doesn't come with the rest of the axle

Maybe crawl under it and see if there is excessive play up and down or front to back in that stub shaft that would indicate a bad bearing?

Not sure if that would be a bad bearing or not. But you'd think they thought of that when looking at it to begin with.

Yeah I know the feeling I'm tired of wasting money and time and the mechanic nit fixing it where I don't have to think about it again.
