I have an opportunity to get an denali/escalade front end for cheap. Not sure if I wanna do that or stay with what I've got or do something different. I've also got a cowl hood and gmc 30 bar billet sitting in the garage. I could sell them to help fund the escalade/denali front end. I know people have been doing the conversion since the dawn of time so I'm not sure if the Denali front is kinda played or not... I'm not completely convinced that I just love the escalade front end. But I'm one of those guys who needs to see it mounted up to know if I will truly like it or not and I found a really good deal on a used kit minus the hood... Just up in the air for what I want to do. In all likelihood, if I did go with the conversion, I would probably try to get hold of some new Escalade 22s.

Here is the cowl hood and gmc grill I have sitting up.

I already have a friend lined out for paint. May do from around the body lines up in a candy blue with a cool pinstripe to separate them.

i'd go with the chevy front with hood, because i have a yukon and the front end on gmc's look kinda weak. What i mean is the line between the heads and turns are thin, while on the chevy grill, its bold, which to me, looks more fierce.

I'd go colormatched grille, IMO.

conversion ftw, the only thing is being low you have to watch the bumper cover ( as in dont pull to far in a space or snap!! when you back up. or coming out of a steep driveway you may scrape.) honestly i just did mine and i love it. not to mention 2 doors look sick, bc they do not blend with escalade even though they have the front and being low just makes it that much cooler. final thought DO IT!!

Another vote for keeping the Chevy front end with the cowl hood. You can do a billet insert or mesh insert or something if you want to add to it. I would definitely color match it. I agree with the comments of sticking with your own front end though. It has always been my preference.

The only thing I see that goes against doing the conversion is the lack of hood options. I'm a big fan of the 442 style hood.. which I cannot have. Otherwise I would say conversion 100%
