So far I’ve done a ton of general maintenance, threw some new LED bulbs in, greased all my Zirk fittings, check the torque on various suspension hardware,
And the biggest one so far is, I got half the interior torn apart to paint the silver plastic and fake wood trim. Picture below is the front center console woodgrain panel in piano black.

I always enjoy those type of maintenance things. Feels great to get your daily all good.
Reminds me that I need to grease my zirk fittings myself...

Isn't there just two for the steering outer tie rod?

Ordered front end links in preparation for the Eibach Sway bars I hope to pick up this weekend. Yesterday I drained the catch can, reprogrammed the key fobs so they'd be 1 and 2 (not 2 and 3), and changed the tune on the transmission a bit. Catch can was crazy. In 2915 miles I had 2 ounces caught in it. After 1800 miles of winter months, it was FULL. I poured out 10 full ounces of milkshake. I hate only driving a mile or two at a time, damned small towns. Oh well, Kansas City trip is happening this weekend...I hope.

I installed the bigger Escalade mirrors today. Not too bad a job. Boy, they sure offer a bigger rear viewing area. So, I got great deals last fall on two new ones, but I couldn't get the color I wanted (Old Blue Eyes) so I settled for silver (not chrome) and I would paint them. The drivers side showed up without the lane warning, even though the ad said it had that. The seller did take it back and sent me another one. However, the replacement came without the puddle light! But, it was in the color they said they didn't have, Old Blue Eyes! So I decided to keep it because I was able to repurpose two camera pins/wires to wire in the puddle light (fortunately I found someone on Ebay selling the cam/puddle plate with the puddle in it). Here is a pic of the passenger side one I painted, with spray cans. You can't tell but the color match is perfect.

Took the step of cutting out the factory muffler today and exhaust clamping in a straight pipe for now (kept resonator). I'll tackle the magnaflow muffler another time. It sounds great with the muffler delete and keeping the resonator in the rear.
Went back in and installed the magnaflow muffler using exhaust clamps for now. The muffler delete was too much for my wife.
Seems like less drone with the magnaflow which is nice for the long road trips for snow season.
Bout to drive 4000 miles up to north Idaho, Montana and back soon.

Today I also changed my transmission fluid, as I do every ~10k miles. Worth the time and money for longevity sake. Keeping it at fresh as possible cannot hurt.
There is always the story of the transmissions that work until you change the fluid which gets rid of all the friction material built up over time.
