I have a front end rattle on both sides of my tahoe. You can only hear it when the windows are down and you are driving on a bumpy road. I went under the car with a mallet ad started tapping around. I thought it was a heat shield but I discovered the noise I was hearing was when I tapped on the front shocks.
2001 LT No air ride suspension. 165k miles. I figure the shocks are shot.
Are there coil springs on the front and rear? Part numbers?
What are the part numbers for the front and rear shocks? I'd like to keep everything stock and get OEM. I tried looking on RockAuto and Summit but there was different part numbers for different shocks. I'm confused.
Thanks for the help!

Thinking about picking these up for the front:
Bilstein 24065009
Rear:
Bilstein 24143806
Rear springs:
Bilstein 199020 Spring
There are no springs for the front, correct?
