Don't seem have those kind of problems up here in the PNW. I have removed a bunch of stuff and haven't come across a rusted/froze up bolt yet.
Thanks for the info.
I'm jealous of that.
After living in AZ and CA for about 35 years I'm not in a salt use area in the mid-Atlantic. I don't like working on the cars as much anymore. Since moving to this area I've had to cut shock towers, stabilizer links, disintegrated bolts, stripped screws, etc.
I don't want to go back to CA ever again but the salt definitely messes with every part of your vehicle.
Also the cold weather has put my rebuild plans on hold. Got all the parts for a front end rebuild that I likely won't get to until spring. Smacking your knuckles in 30 degree weather isn't fun. My living room looks like an auto parts store stockroom! LOL
Out of curiosity, how does the rear look/feel? I've replaced the lower control arms in the rear, thinking about rebuilding the uppers and replacing the panhard bar or bushings to tighten up the back end while I'm at it.
