What’s everyone using the reattach “wood” ring around steering wheel

I used some epoxy, even though I didn't mix it properly it took a couple months to sort of cure but it's holding now for sure, the ring is basically just glued to the leather so I would just use whatever will dry clear so if you get a little to much on it you'll never notice, once I put it on there I just took a toothpick and cleaned the edges up, zip tied it together and let it dry, I wouldn't recommend the zip ties though if you are going to be driving it a shoe string wrapped around it and tied would work though

You could use an ACE bandage as well. It has some stretch so it can apply pressure and still provide some grip if you need to drive.

I know this is an old post but mine is pulling away at the top too. Did you remove the whole wooden ring and then apply epoxy all around and then press it back in position?

Last round I used gorilla glue all the way around that I could get it and it's been solid for quite some time now, you just have to keep in mind gorilla glue expands as it dries so wipe off any that creeps out of the edges. Gorilla glue and several zip ties let it cure overnight. If any is showing after it dries just use a toothpick or something similar to get any visible signs of it out.

Same here but I only did the part that came loose. I put gorilla glue on a qtip and put some masking tape on overnight.
