Has anyone swapped out the Front Fender turn signals from amber to the smoked ones yet? Seems like it would be a good mod.

Are you talking about the marker lights on the fenders? There are several posts about applying tint/spray/swapping out

I swapped them out for smoke with white LED, adds a nice touch. The driver side had a few LEDs go out after a few weeks but had a replacement sent to me. The swap is a direct plug and play, took about 10 min.

If you all care or not...Swapping them to a color other than amber, or smoking them out so that strength of light is reduced, is a violation of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards For Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment...

Net, all US motor vehicles must have an amber marker lamp at the front quarter, and must have an amber reflector...

Thanks for the info, like the window tint, I'll roll the dice for a fix it ticket if someone decides to pull me over. Honestly, the white LEDs on the aftermarket one make me MORE noticeable for other vehicles.

Or, they blind the driver of a vehicle passing you in the dark, depending on how you want to look at it...and may confuse a driver as to what is approaching, since all other cars on the road follow the standard of amber in the front, red in the rear...

I just installed these as well. I think they look great when turned off, but when on, the LED strips look like a Walmart brand lol. Needless to say, I think I am going back to the stock version and will have a tint shop cover them with tint film. I like the idea, just wish they would have stuck with a stock style LED Bulb rather than the strips.
