Was able to reproduce the sound by going slowly in reverse and breaking to lightly to a stop, mainly noticed it when i get a complete stop the truck feels like it doesn't wanna go untill i give it some gas which is when i hear a sound and than it rides perfectcly afterwards untill its time to come to a complete stop again although it does it less when stopping than when i get going.

If anyone could shed some light on the possibilities so i know how much id be spending if i was to bring it into the shop or if i should try and fix it myself if it looks like it might be something small.
Much appreciated!

I did shake the tire when it was lifted but there was no play at least nope replay it would turn but the steering wheel return as well so I'm guessing the bearing are working properly.i was just thinking maybe something to do with the break pads or i really hope not but the drive train?

unknown at this time.
You know what something is not right. That sound does not seem like it is coming from the wheel as much as it does from a gearbox as it seems to hollow sounding. Can you rephrase your description please. I hear the sound during the end of your braking in reverse. I am also not quite seeing the whole "feels like it doesn't wanna go untill i give it some gas which is when i hear a sound and than it rides perfectly afterwards" effect.

Btw, while the ball joint innards will wear out faster when exposed to outside debris, just because the boot broke does not mean an immediate failure and I have not seen a leaky one make that kind of noise before.

Hey sunlit thanks for the input!
Sorry i should have said that the whole it not wanting to go rarely happens when im getting out of a full stop, maybe it has nothing to do with the sound but idk im trying to put everything i feel when i drive it into words, so far the truck is driving fine but soon ill bring it into the shop and see if it could be the breaks or if i find anything abnormal with the wheel out.
