eh, i'll have to pop that console off again and take a look inside I had it off once already to install my radar detector unless it is some integrated pcb board I should be able to just cut a wire or desolder it, it's on my to-do list now along with a stereo upgrade, I lived for the last 50 years without a led light on at night I don't need one now.

Is there a way to turn off the front LED courtesy light that is in that little hole in the overhead console?

so I looked at mine again super easy!, just open the sunglasses pocket from there you will see the edge of the plastic center piece, just grab that with your fingernails and pull it down, it just has plastic clips, once you have down a smidge close the sunglasses pocket then you can pull it down a little more, right in the center is the led connector just unclip it and then push the plastic trim piece backup into place-done.

if yours does not have the sunglasses pocket you can just insert a plastic trim tool on the edge of that center square piece for the same results just get in the edge and it will pull down pretty easily.
