Front wheel Hub/Bearing

My 09 Tahoe needs the LF wheel hub/bearing replaced. I used to work for a GM dealership a few years back and am out of the loop now on parts. I used to swear by OEM or Timken bearings. But that was on the old GMT800 platform. Since I've only had my GMT900 for about a year, I don't pretend to know which bearing is best for it. I plan to keep this Tahoe until I can't find parts for it anymore since it has the L9H in it, so I'm looking for only the best stuff for it. I searched google already, and it seems Timken is a good choice, but I trust you guys more than google.

Yep, Timken Mike! SP500301, replaced one of mine last year and found the best price through Amazon with Prime.

Thanks guys. Since I'm OCD, I was also planning on doing both sides, but how do I justify to my other half that we gotta do them both at the same time, any suggestions? Haha

I used to use Timken but moog is pretty decent too and comes with a 3yr warranty instead of 1 yr with Timken
warranty's usually work out in my favor.......I buy lifetime products whenever possible because it then becomes a one time expense.

You just say we gotta do it and do it. Sell off the other on CL or Ebay. Make sure you replace the nut, it's one time use item. The one coming off is 35mm and the replacement OE (11609826) and Dorman (05177) are 36mm. I used the 36mm to remove the 35mm. Have both for the future now. Torque to 177 ft lbs or you'll be doing them again. The knuckle bolts can be reused and go to 133 ft lbs. Just realized that all I've written relates to a 4WD truck and unsure if different for 2WD.

I don't see any difference in my manuals and my buddies 2007 Classic used the same torque values when he did his hubs too.

This is funny because my left front (4wd) is going out too and @mikeyss im going to do both sides. I do things in pairs just because.... my luck in 3k the rf will start to go out. I tell my wife you have to do both sides and she goes with it and believe me shes no dummy when it comes to cars, mechanical stuff. Im going timken or moog but prob Timken. Tell her it wont align right or tires will wear uneven or something to that effect....
