If it still runs fine. Drive it and keep your eyes peeled for a good pull out. I bought a full pull out 06 escalade driveline a few years ago. Had under 26K on it and I paid 1300.00 for everything. After selling off parts the engine was basically free and I gave away most of the stuff.

I'm with the others.......if the majority of the truck is fine-pick up a used motor and have it ready to be put in when the time comes....its kinda the luck of the draw regardless-you could pick up a newer vehicle and it be problematic or problem free-at least with yours-you know where you stand
