I know the fuel filter is in the tank and there is not a remote one mounted anywhere, so my question is how often should this be serviced?

2008 Yukon Denali 6.2L. Truck has fluctuation in RPM's with slow acceleration or steady throttle input. First thought is fuel filter but this in-tank filter is new to me.

Thoughts otherwise? Service interval?

I think that filter is considered "life time" and not serviceable. My guess on your problem would be the gas pedal, or TPS. I'm pretty sure my Denali gave me a reduced engine power when my gas pedal went out. Any codes?

No codes. That's the hard part finding the problem.
