Fuel gage stuck at full

I was driving my 96 hoe down the road the other day and i went to fill my tank up after leaving the gas station and driving for two days i noticed that my fuel gage isnt moving at all was working fine jus with a little flucating with the needle anybody know what could be causing this?

the sending unit in the tank probably. ever replace your fuel pump?.. either that or youre getting GREAT gas mileage..whats your secret? hahaha

lol dont step on the gas thats how but yes the fuel pump was replaced a couple of months ago am i able to purchase the sending unit seperatley?

well you'll know it's borked when you've gone 200 miles and it STILL reads a full tank ;)

Just a quick side note/thread jack, how many miles do ya'll usually get on a FULL tank. i got 325 miles on completely full to E about to run out.

Ok now its really gettin wierd because once i got to about a half tank its back in working order this is really getting strange

I get anywhere from 300-400 miles per tank. If I could just go a full week without W.O.T I could really save some cash ha.

but where is the fun in that ;) V8's beg to be ran!!

@99denali - i get between 250-275 when i'm down to 1/4th of a tank. i never let it go blow that though. i want this fuel pump to last as long as possible :)
