The last few times filling the tank the pump shuts off when the tank reaches 3/4, at least based off the gauge. Research shows that similar symptoms were caused by the purge solenoid being faulty. However, with that owners have normally gotten the tighten gas cap message and a couple codes indicating this purge solenoid being faulty. I have not seen this tighten gas cap message nor have I any malfunction codes.
Is there anything else that I could check for that would cause the pumps to shutoff when tank is 3/4 full? I do have this purge solenoid and plan to change it in the next couple days. I figured it might be the most likely cause and was not very expensive.
