not only do I have the fuel level issue, but I was having a problem where my oil low sensor would go off when the ground surface was not level. The dealership replaced the oil sensor, said it was a known issue.

This is normal operation. Our fuel tanks no longer have baffles in the tank so when the truck is parked on an incline or decline the fuel gauge may not read accurate. To go along with not having any baffles there is a buffer so that the fuel gauge does not fluctuate from the fuel moving in the tank. What is happening is that the truck is learning the fuel level after key off near E and once the vehicle is driven it starts reading correctly after meeting the criteria of the buffer. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me directly. Thank you.

Tricia, GM Customer Service.
