My truck was low on fuel the other day (My Wife) and it would start the next morning. I had put about 1 gallon of gas in and use a few hit with a rubber mallet to get it going. I check the fuel pressure today and it's Key on truck off 48psi and Truck ON 42psi idel. With the key on and truck off it seems to hold 48psi fine. Do I need a new fuel pump or was I just to low on gas? Truck is 2002 Tahoe 5.3 Flex Fuel 150,000 miles the fuel filter is new. The truck has been runing fine the last few days.
