Alright. So I have had my 2000 Tahoe since June 29th of this year. It was a birthday present from my family for my 18th birthday. Anyway, the fuel pump was going out, and I have ordered one already (should be here by Thursday). I noticed today that my oil pressure rises whenever I give it gas. It idles/cruises at 45 (is that measured in PSI???), and when I give it gas, it raises past 60. I do not think it did this a few days ago. I also noticed yesterday that the fuel pump is making a terrifying clicking noise, and that is also when I noticed the oil pressure rising. I am just wanting to understand why the pressure is rising. Oh, and I only was going 40mph on flatland (IDK if that helps with anything). Please let me know, because I need to drive it to my uncle's house in order for him to replace the pumps (he is a professional Chevy mechanic), and he is in Corona (I am in Costa Mesa). Do you guys think the hoe will make it that far?
