Fuel pump question

What's the difference between Delphi FG0810 and Delphi FG0324

Guy from amazon said this :
The FG0324 will only work for your CHEVROLET 2003 TAHOE 5.3L V8 if your Engine Vin (8th Letter From left to Right on the Vin Number) is the Letter T. If your Engine Vin is Z then the correct part for your vehicle is the Delphi FG0810

OK my Vin has the "Z" but if the FG0324 will work I would like to save 50$ anyone with some information on this much appreciated!

The only difference I see is the wiring harness plug. My neighbor gave me a different pump and we put on the new wiring harness for the FG0324 style it wasn't easy off brand pump and it went out within a month.

The 'Z' is for the Flex Fuel engine. So, you will most likely need to get the FG0810.

Let me know how it's going after you put 100 miles on the new pump.
I don't think it would really make a difference as long as you don't use E85. I'm guessing it's just a different filter.

I was a little confused on it being a flex fuel because the filter has a nipple on one end and bolt on the other

I don't think that we even have a choice of the E85 here don't sale it... that I'm aware of.

Most likely E-85 tolerant o-rings and seals. As mentioned above, the Z vs T is for flex and non-flex fuel compatible fuel systems.

If you plan on keeping the truck and never running E-85, I wouldn't worry about it.

Ok installed new pump today. .. anyone know what the idle fuel rail pressure should be at when idling? It was around 42 psi at the fuel rail. I was curious to what it's supposed to be at. After I prime the system it was up round 55-60 psi but after I started it it drop down to 42 psi.

This is running fuel pressure. Have you changed to fuel filter lately? You should always change the filter when you change out the pump. If the filter is plugged up it can cause the new pump to fail sooner due to having it have to work harder.
